You begin to wake as painful ring runs through your head and you open your eyes. Its dark. So very dark. A dim light illuminates the room from a distance. A fireplace. The warm glow begins to bring a semblance of enlightment back to your mind.

The large open ''foyer'' spans the front of the structure with the fireplace to the north side. You begin to pull yourself up, the aching pain still throbbing in your skull. A first glance the room appears as it always does, large ebony grand piano by the fireplace with a small sofa. Two large arching staircases wrapping around the door to the main part of the house with door above as well to the recent addition to the home. The marble floor prestine as always likely was recently cleaned by the maid ''Carmen''. Why am I here? you think.

The arches open up to a nice open floor plan as you round the corner to the second fireplace. You remember playing here with your children, ''Braden'' and ''Elizabeth''. They were always such good kids. You remember regretting not spending more time with them while you could.
[[Continue->Living Room 2]]You approach the Hall door and turn the doorknob but to no avail. Strange. You don't remember ever locking this door, pehaps going around the other way through the kitchen could unlock it.
[[Back->Foyer 4]]The hallway is illuminated by candles down the side wall. Perhaps before going to sleep those should be put out. Where is ''Carmen''? She likely left them on while cleaning. Maybe the power is out? The master bedroom is on the south side, farther down the hall leads to the Kitchen, the hall closet, and your study. The cornering of the hall has a nice trophy cabinet with a few medals and awards in it.

The hardwood floor spans its entirety as bookshelves flank all of the walls around in a nice mahogony wood. Tons of volumes of very fancy looking books adorn the shelves. The light switch doesn't seem to work but the glow here is enough. The large bay windows reach up the east wall. There is a hall to the right that leads to the bedrooms.

The hall leads to the master bedroom as well as the two childrens bedrooms. ''Elizabeths'' had gone untouched even after her departure. ''Darci'' wanted it to stay as it was. His desk where he wrote letters to grandma bigging to crest with a layer of dust. A dresser run amuck, clothes strewn about. A few toys left out that look like they havent been touched in a few days. Only 12 years old, but Braden had begun to mature pretty quickly. The closet is cracked open.

You toss through the blanket for a minute and notice something on the sheet. The darkness makes it hard to see but it looks like just a bit of blood or some other red substance staining it.
The envelope was a little weighty and contains a handwritten letter in somewhat poor penmenship, grammar, and spelling. There was also a key in the envelope. The letter reads:
I need you to come pick me up. Mommy and Daddy are fighting agan and he sounds really really mad this time. I heard someone else too but I coulnt hear who was it. I think hes mad at me too. I tried to lock the door and hide the key, but I think I took the wrong one. Please come soon.

You tear at the carpet and pull up what appears to be yet another hidden door to below. There appears to be a lock on the hatch but it looks quite frail. You could try to pry it or snap it off if you had the right kind of tool.

For some reason the guy just gives you a bad taste in your mouth.

The blood on your face seem to be coming from an outside source. Your busted lip does not appear to be bad enough to smear blood across your whole head. This looks real bad... Why cant you remember??

The marble counter top above the matching oak cabinets aline the corner of the room. The island set in the center mirrors it counterparts. There is a back door and a door into the northern hall.

''Carmine's'' room is completely obliterated, the bedframe destroyed and a few other pieces of furnature fairly smashed. Scratches adorn the floorboards, but there doesn't seem to be any sign of ''Carmine''. You continue to hear her voice, its coming from the bloodied sheets in the corner of the room. Your head begins to pulse. You've heard this before.
You grab the tape recorder from the sheets with bloody prints on it and press the off button.

You arrived exhausted from working. Everything feels exhausting when depressed. Your daughter flayed by your invention. Your wife wrecked with grief beyond repair. //You peer out the back door. ''Braden'' is outside playing. Its a pretty nice evening, thats interesting though. He's kept to himself lately. You begin to press on the door to look out as you see ''Carmine'' approach him outside. Normally she doesn't interact with the family too much outside of maintaining upkeep of their home. Shes only been here for a few weeks as she tries to build up money to send to her family back in Mexico. Shes a good girl and the Harpers have been trying to help her out as much as they could. //

''Carmen'' knew. They all sat down for dinner together, one big happy family. You clench your fist in anger but don't act. You're to blame for this. It's all your fault. You receed to your study. Over the following weeks you break. The mind can only take so much. Eventually it snaps. //
[[You continue down the tunnel->End7]]You enter the larger antichamber of the tunnel that comes out. Halls push out in every direction going to both the bedrooms and the storage. They eventually meet under the study. A ladder of old wood spans up through the center.

You climb to a room built above the study. One without any doors. Perhaps you were planning this all along. After ''Elizabeth's'' death. Perhaps you died inside then before the addition. The small room opens up

The body of ''Gary'' cut to nothings and sent down the drain. The bodies of ''Darci'', ''Braden'', and the still earth covered body of ''Elizabeth'' all layed out waiting for their dad and husband. Fights were put up, but nothing was able to stop you.
